I would like to thank all Martin Lake Members for helping make us Mississippi's #'1 family recreational resort!! Martin Lake has in the last 8+ years put approximately 1 million dollars in new improvements. Speaking of improvements, we have started phase II at the lake which includes 10 new cabins with TV, VCR, cable, and jacuzzi tubs. The materials for three cabins are already onsite and we will be building them over the next couple months. We also will be doing mini-golf around the middle of April or Beginning of May. Look forward to an expanded beach picnic area with grills. The roads will be improved and basketball should be added. Hope to see you and your friends enjoying the lake and it's new amenities this year.Jerry

As you know, Martin Lake has been sending newsletters like this one to our members for years. This was our way of keeping you informed of our progress, changes in rules, and special activities for our members and friends. Many of our members have requested their newsletters by E-mail so we will no longer mail a newsletter unless requested in writing. All newsletters will be posted on our website. This will save time and money and will help us serve you more effectively.

Regarding our guest situation . . . everyone agrees we all enjoy and wish to encourage continued guest use. We also all agree that guest use places an extra financial burden on the cost of operation the park. We asked for your suggestions and input on the best solution to cover these extra costs. We were overwhelmed and delighted with the number of members who responded with their ideas and input. With very little exception, almost everyone suggested a guest usage fee charged at the gate, of between $2.00 and $5.00 per person. The typical reason; where else can you take your family that's clean, safe, and has a nice family atmosphere for $2.00 to $5.00 per person?
Because of your input and ideas, the following will be put into effect from May 1st to September 30th of each year.
- Members and their immediate family - no charge
(includes children and parents of members).
- Pre-school age children (under 6) - no charge
- All other guests - $2.00 per day.
- No guest fee will be charged on Tue., Wed., & Thur.
As a member of Martin Lake I will:
- Use Lifejackets in Boats
- Observe one-way roads.
- Observe the 5 MPH speed limit.
- Obey posted pool and hot tub rules.
- Clean up after my pets
- Not park on the grass.
- Have my proper ID card when visiting the Resort
